Our Approach

Four steps, in order, every time

Security work done out of order creates gaps. We follow the same sequence with every organization, so nothing gets built on a foundation that isn't there yet.

01 — ASSESS

Know where you stand

An honest, structured look at your facility and current practices — before anything is recommended.

02 — EQUIP

Build the plan

Written security and response plans built for your specific building, team, and congregation.

03 — TRAIN

Put it into practice

Hands-on training that turns a written plan into muscle memory for the people who'll use it.

04 — PARTNER

Stay ready, together

Ongoing check-ins, annual reviews, and a standing relationship — not a one-time visit.

About

Joe Noga

Founder & Lead Consultant

Joe spent 19 years as a police officer — Corporal, Field Training Officer, SWAT member, and K9 Handler — before turning that experience toward the organizations he cares about most personally: churches.

As an elder himself, he understands the specific tension every congregation navigates — staying open and welcoming while being genuinely prepared for the moments no one wants to plan for.

Sage Safety Group was built on that understanding. Every assessment, plan, and training session is shaped around a simple idea: security is a form of stewardship, not a posture of fear.

Wisdom in preparation. Confidence in chaos.
